The races races that can be warlocks are Undead, Orcs, Humans, Gnomes, and Blood Elves. The only kind of armor a warlock may equip is cloth. They can use only wands, swords (some), staves, and daggers for weapons.

Warlocks are best known for their ability to summon and control a variety of demonic minions including Felguards, Doomguards, Infernals, Felhunters, Succubi, Voidwalkers, and Imps. All of the various minions are useful, but you’ll need to measure the advantages of using each of them for the task at hand. Warlocks generally focus on damage over time (DoT) and DD (direct damage) spells, but they also have many utility spells which are useful including summoning Soul Stones. They’re able to use soul shards to conjure a variety of items and also to resurrect fallen comrades. They also have some limited self healing power when using drain life, and good crowd control talents as well. Since warlocks can get their mounts via quests, they save bucket loads of money that the other characters are forced to pay.

The Affliction specialization focuses on curses, drains and damage over time spells. This talent spec shines at farming, boss killing, and raiding. This is commonly accepted as the optimum leveling spec for warlocks.

The Demonology talent tree uses talents that are intended to make summoned demons more powerful and more effective, as well as enhancing conjuring spells and providing you better passive bonuses. This specialization is particularly good for player versus player and general survivability. It is also good when leveling, though it is not really as efficient as the Affliction spec. When you want to create the most powerful minions, Demonology is the specialization to choose.

The Destruction specialization increases the direct damage output of both your fire and shadow line of spells. Your warlock will be able to do massive amounts of damage, but you will have reduced survivability. This talent tree is difficult to use effectively at lower levels so it is most often played once players get to higher levels. Note that this spec is not so great for solo play. The druids learn the tree of life form by investing in the talent tree, and become a very good healer, since the Restoration tree focuses on healing spells. Furor, a restoration talent, will give the druid Rage as they change into bear or cat form. Other talents like Natural Shape Shifter will reduce the Mana cost of shape shifting by thirty percent.

There are some setbacks to becoming a druid that you need to know. Since druids have the ability to do so many things, focusing on a single strategy can be quite difficult. Since different forms need different gear, much more equipment needs to be carried than other classes usually need.

Play your character rested whenever possible. Rested characters receive double experience points (XP) from killing any monsters that you encounter. By recharging your character’s rested bonus to the maximum level over a few of days, you could potentially complete quite a few quests and collect the double XP bonus the whole time. So remember, the rested bonus is your friend. Why waste time if you don’t have to?

Only do green quests. They offer the best bang for the buck and are simple to do. You’ll be likely to die more often if you try to do quests rated yellow or higher. You will also wind up having to repair your equipment more regularly, which is time wasted.

When leveling up, stay away from instances. Running instances doesn’t get you the same amount of experience as just running quests. It is appealing for some of the loot, but it’s slower.

Group quests together. Get all the available quests you can locate when first entering a zone. Try to group quests together that end in the same location. Just have a peek at the quest details. Going back and forth between zones for quests is a pain and this method will save you a lot a time and frustration.

Travel to other zones. If you have completed all the easier quests in your own race’s zones, do not be afraid to travel to another part of the continent or even to the other continent to aim at those easy green quests. You will find that the extra XP from completing so many quests quickly will turn you into a power leveler in no time.

I used to play my Rogue character as more of a Hunter, with a Paladin tanking mobs as I thundered down them with my crossbow. We were almost out of control as we attempted to two-man Uldaman for more than 3 hours. Needless to say when we finally reached Revelosh we were humbly defeated.

Are there some classes which are better suitable for herbalism than the others? The answer to this question is, no. Any class can make use of herbalism, although some classes may seem to need it somewhat more. For example, most of the Herbalists are usually healers or tanks since those two specs always need a lot of potions and flasks. Druids have a slight advantage in herb gathering because of their instant flying form which allows gathering while staying in it.
