The Paladin Leveling Guide
Ah, the Paladin. Impenetrable Fortress, Defender of the Light and a pain in the butt when it comes to leveling.
Don’t get me wrong – playing a Paladin is lots of fun once you hit level 80 and no raid group is complete without a Paladin.
More than one player that I know personally wanted to have a level 80 Paladin but gave up their new character after a lot of frustrating leveling.
I don’t want you to give up! That’s why I want to share my best leveling tactics in this Paladin Leveling guide:
Paladin Leveling Tactic 1:
Good equipment makes good leveling. So let’s start with the right gear for your alt. I don’t recommend you to run off to the auction house and spend all your gold on expensive blue items. But knowing the most important stats for your character is necessary if you want to level faster.
To make a long story short: Concentrate the stats on your gear and items on Strength and Stamina! Nothing else is needed, really. Just raw DPS and hitpoints.
Paladin Leveling Tactic 2:
Of course you will be leveling using the Retribution leveling spec. All the other talent trees are just decoration. Ignore them until you hit level 80 and start playing the endgame content. For now it’s Retribution and nothing else.
Let me tell you which are the most important talents in your Retribution spec.
I’m talking about the talents: Seal of Command, Art of War, Improved Judgements, Crusader Strike and Judgements of the Wise.

In my opinion they just had a tough time leveling their alts – and now they want you to suffer the same.
