Farmville Tips on Earning cash #1 – Don’t Sign Up for Stuff

In Farmville, you’ve a tab that says Earn cash.  If you go to this tab, you may realize that you can sign up for different things to earn free money and that’s great.  But wait…  There is a catch.  When you join up to that kind of thing, you need to read the small print.  I often visit the Farmville forums to remain up to date on Farmville and just lately I ran across a post about a bloke who was signing up for the stuff to get free cash.  He got lots more than free money.  (Bless his Heart) He will get a pleasant cell telephone bill. 

When he signed up for these things, he later discovered that he would be charged $9.99 a month on his cell phone bill.  Once he found out this, he tried to cancel and was told he could cancel after the 1st month.  I think he signed up for like 10 of these things.  So, he’s going to have an extra $100 tacked onto his telephone bill.  So please, be careful when trying to earn free money.  The unhappy part is that he didn’t even get his Farmville cash. 

Farmville Tips on Earning cash #2 – Get Free cash by Leveling Up

If you actually want to buy something with cash and do not want to pay for it, save up.  Every time you level up on Farmville, you’ll receive $1 in Farm money.  If you are on a lower level, you are able to save your cash and in the end, buy something you really need. 

Farmville Tips on Earning money #3 – Paying Real cash for Farm cash

Paying real cash for Farm cash is just insane, for 2 reasons.  One, there have been some reports that when folks purchase this cash, it never appears in their account.  2, Farmville is in beta, it might go down at anytime and you might lose everything on your farm.  Therefore you would just be throwing your money away purchasing this stuff.  Some items like land expansions enables you to upgrade using coins or cash.  Yeah, it takes a lot of coins, but the coins are free.
