Unarguably the most frustrating part of WoW is leveling. For the first time it’s fun. You get to see Azeroth in all its beauty and explore all the unknown areas and quests.

But you have to do it all over again, for days and weeks in a row, if you decide to start a new character.

This is the moment when players start to think about quitting.

Follow my fast leveling strategy and just get it over with. It still takes some effort, but it’s the fastest, legal way to get to level 80.

Step One – Choose A Proven Talent Build

Scavenge forums and blogs. The WoW community is full of helpful information about leveling talent builds. Just make sure to grab one that works with your current patch of the game.

Step Two – Get A Proven Attack Rotation

With every good leveling spec comes an attack rotation that kills off quest mobs the quickest. Start to practice it constantly. That’s an important aspect of fast leveling.

And don’t die.

Nothing is more time-wasting than getting killed and having to run back to your corpse – and it’s costly, too. You can prevent this with a little bit of experimenting and practicing.

Step Three – Skip Quests with a low ROI

Now, what do I mean by that?

There are quests that take up a lot of time, but give you very little in return. The obvious examples are group quests. Other players often slow you down. If you want the best xp/hour rate and just ding 80 fast, I recommend you to skip those group quests.

But there are other quests that waste your time, too. And thouse are less obvious ones. You can get around these with one of the many leveling guides available for all the races and classes.

This is all you need to know for fast leveling in WoW. There are many other tricks and tweaks, such as gear and glyphs.
