Water Effects In Games
Believe it or not there have been a fair few video games using water very well and some have even been set underwater too. Here are some of the video games that use water to really push the game forward.
Hydrophobia
This game is actually not out yet but it would seem that this is going to be a great game when it comes to the water effects used. The story basically goes that you are on a massive ship underwater when terrorists strike the ship and of course the ship begins to flood. Various levels will be spent underwater and by the looks of the water it looks to be a very good game. This is an Xbox only game that is set to be released over Xbox live and episode at a time at some part in the latter half of this year.
Super Mario Sunshine
I could see the entire Mario franchise coming in for this one as there are levels set in water across all of the games but this is the one that showed of the stunning effects the most. Well firstly it would seem that main thing to mention is FLUDD who was of course the water nozzle that could talk and was there to assist Mario. On top of this the water effects on this game were fantastic for a Mario game.
Bioshock 1 &2
These two games really do have some of the best water effects in a game and they have to really simply because the entire game is set in an underwater city. I am yet to really play Bioshock 2 as I have only had a little go at it but what I can tell it is just as good as the first.
So if you fancy your very own deep sea adventure why not go on one of those diving holidays and go shark diving. Of course Maldives diving is among the best for this kind of thing.
