The Ultimate WoW Guide – Reviewed
Generally, strategy guides for World of Warcraft tend to focus on only one facet like power leveling, making gold, professions, or player vs player. The Ultimate Wow Guide covers all of these aspects in one place. There are a lot of guides out there that teach sound strategy, but none of them are nearly as all encompassing as this one is. The guide is regularly maintained so the information is always current.
There are 3 sections that the Ultimate WoW guide is organized into. Section one is all about leveling your character as quickly as possible whether you play Alliance or Horde. The guide uses an in-game mod that makes leveling really fast and easy. I don’t know anybody who enjoyed alt-tabbing between their game and a PDF guide, and with this guide you’ll never have to again.
You will need to install the add-on to your game folder (which is easy to do so don’t worry), so that it can be configured to your character. In essence, the guide gently takes your hand and guides you through all the exact steps you should take. All you have to do is accept quests and the guide handles marking way-points on your map and guiding you with an arrow on your screen. The guide uses only a small amount of screen real estate and works like a champ.
One nice feature of the in-game leveling guide is that it includes class specific quests. You’ll need good gear for leveling your character, so a complete gear guide is provided as well. A great item that only Dugi’s Ultimate WoW Guide has is an in-game Talent Spec Guide. It works by taking advantage of templates for all of your toon’s talents which you can easily choose when it’s time to designate those talent points.
How to make huge piles of gold is covered in the 2nd part of the guide. Trying to amass gold when you are power leveling up to 80 is not actually necessary and will only slow you down. The most realistic gold making strategies require that you have a 70+ level character and Dugi’s gold guide has them all covered. The only point at which you may really need to amass gold in earlier part of the game is to save up for mounts. The guide covers the optimal tactics when using auctions, and the most efficient ways to find rare items. Daily quests are covered too. You’ll be making 500 plus gold per hour just by following this guide. Selecting the right professions will ensure that you make gold much faster and the included professions guide has everything covered.
Lastly, the 3rd section of the guide is all about player versus player. PvP is one of the things I enjoy the most about the game. The guide contains strategies for every race and class. You will get a list of mods and macros that make PvP even easier, and a guide to choosing the correct talents for PvP.
