The Nintendo Wii systems generally pronounced as “we” is a house video gaming console released by Nintendo.

The Wii is a seventh generation gaming system which faces competition from Sony’s Playstation3 and Microsoft’s Xbox 360. According to Nintendo, Wii was released keeping in mind a wider target group including individuals from all age groups as in comparison towards the Xbox 360 and PS3 which focus on a particular group of gamers, and to most extents the Wii has succeeded in achieving its targets, it leads the generation over PS3 and Xbox 360.

The Wii is the successor of Nintendo GameCube and the fifth in the series of gaming consoles produced by Nintendo. The Wii also has the ability to play all GameCube games.

The Wii bundle was first introduced at the 2004 E3 press conference and then unveiled following an year in the 2005 E3 press conference. The prototype of the controller was revealed at the September 2005 Tokyo Game display and at the E3 press conference of 2006 the gaming system bagged in numerous awards beneath its name, by December 2008, it was released globally throughout all its key markets.

The launch package of the Wii bundles included the gaming system, one stand which allows the gaming system to become put vertically, a single Wii remote controller, a wii nunchuck attachment, a clear stabilizer for the stand, sensor bar, removable stand for that sensor bar, two AA sized batteries, audio/video cables, SCART adapter (for European countries), operation documents and copy from the game known as Wii sports activities.
