Level in Mafia Wars Fast

Leveling up is the major goal for many Mafia Wars gamers. Not everyone is so single minded, but there is something satisfying about watching your level increase. And don’t overlook the rewards built into the game for reaching those levels; we all are eager to commit crime in Cuba and Moscow.

Let’s consider core concepts for Mafia Wars leveling. In order to complete a level, you need to collect experience points. You trade your energy and stamina for experience by doing jobs and participating in fights.  Heists used to yielded experience points, as well. (Oh, heists, how I long for your return.)

Leveling fast can be accomplished through an emphasis on jobs or on fighting.  If you are a Fearless character, job leveling is extra quick because you can have an energy bonus for being a wheelman in someone else’s top mafia. Maniac characters also have a perk in speed leveling with either method because of the fast recovery of energy points built into that character.  If you’re a Mogul, you may choose to emphasize fight centered leveling strategy, since you don’t have any particular energy advantage.

Let’s examine job leveling first. It’s a low-key method to level quick. Build a massive energy reserve by putting every skill point you get into energy at first. Focus on job mastery and tier mastery at all times. As you progress in the tiers, jobs will demand more preparation and energy points to work and you’ll receive more experience and loot too. Your given level dictates which job tiers are open to you, but don’t abandon mastery to jump ahead.  Keep track of the experience:energy ratio of Mafia Wars jobs and do the jobs that yield the most experience out for your energy investment in. This focus on mastery and high experience yield jobs sets you up beautifully with loads of energy for the upper levels so you can cruise through. Mastering tiers will give you more skill points to invest, solid money, loot, and the gravy mastery bonuses. (You’re large energy stat will also come in handy in Mafia Wars Moscow.)

If you plan to level fast through fighting, you’ll have some different strategy. You’ll need to invest heavily in your stamina stat to enable you to fight without running out. You’ll also need to collect a decent sized crew and equip yourself with specials or limited edition loot to get a winning start in the fighting path. One of the perks of this way of leveling is that you’ll quickly acquire the best equipment from Cuba and NYC and loads of money from your opponents.  When you are near leveling up, choose a job that gives the biggest experience payoff to expend the last of your energy and you’ll get a bigger experience point boost into the next level. Sure you’ll dislocate your finger fighting so much, but on the plus side you won’t have to hassle with consumables.

You might find that a merger of job and fight leveling is more enjoyable than practicing just one or the other. Since the typical fight has the best experience:energy ratio than almost all the jobs, start each level by fighting until you zero out your stamina. After the fighting, get to work on job mastery. You’ll still be gaining job mastery and energy pool, but you’ll get the premium fight spoils and great experience yield from fights, too. Who says you can’t have it all for Mafia Wars leveling?
