World of Warcraft Paladin Talent Guide
Depending on what role a Paladin wishes to fulfill, there are several build options to consider. While there are many different talent combinations, most players should focus on a single tree and plan their talents ahead of time, as good planning will allow you to build your Paladin correctly and avoid having to redo talents later, which can get costly. This Paladin Talent Guide is designed to help you make good choices from the outset as you build your Paladin character.
First and foremost, you need to understand what the role of your Paladin will be, as this will influence where you spend your points. If your Paladin’s main focus is on healing, the Holy tree should be your primary tree. Tankadins (Paladin Tanks), on the other hand, would select the protection tree. And Paladins focussing on DPS should choose the retribution tree to specialize in.
1. The Holy Paladin
It’s a good idea to throw in a few points into the Holy tree regardless of what kind of Paladin you build. If you’re Paladin’s role is that of a healer, make sure you put plenty of points in this tree.
