However, many people are finding that the problem is that they have to own the disk of the game to be able to play the newly released content.

GTA 4 is the latest company to do so because they are releasing their next downloadable content onto a standalone disc, as well as their previous content. What this means is that you can now play the new content without having to have the GTA 4 disk.

The only current downside to this is that companies only really do it once they have a number of packs to release onto disc, whether this will change in the future, we’ll just have to wait and see. Keep an eye out for when video game news sites announce a release date for the new GTA 4 content.
