How to Farm for Gold in WOTLK

Level up a gathering talent – Personally I’d prefer herbalism and then just fight NPC’s that drops material in a section where herbs are just everywhere and waiting for you.  It’s so hard to believe how much herbs are costing me on my server, but I can simply make up for it by selling stacks of frostweave.  Truthfully, for an item that virtually anyone can farm, you might think that the price per stack would be under 35g.  Oh well, that is’s just more WoW gold for me!  Another great cash making profession right now is Skinning.  The stacks of borean leather are not as pricey as herbs but you can gather them so faster which makes it a good way to make money in WOTLK.  If there are mobs that drop gold and can be skin like the Worgen in Tirisfal Glades, that’s's another neat way to get some additional gold with no extra effort. 

Questing – If you are an enchanter just disenchant the search rewards that you’re not using and sell the mats ; the pricing and demand for them is really high now so you’ll make a pretty good profit.  Or else you can just vendor them and you will be making more money in WOTLK no time whatsoever. 

Further Tips and systems for more gold

Right now one of the simplest way to make money is gathering professions. If you can get lots and I mean lots of herbs, gems, ores, and bars you can easily overprice them at the Auction House because everyone wants to level up their professions right now and you will be selling them what they desire when they desire it. 

Rather than leveling your First Aid, you can sell your cloth for 40g per stack at the AH.  Then once the demand goes down you can buy them all back probably at 10g per stack so fundamentally you’ll get to level up your first aid for free while making 30g profit for each stack you sold. 

Last but not least, it would be wise of you not to put down the power of gray quality items because everything adds up.
