Have you ever thought why the Warrior is so popular in World of Warcraft? There are lots of guides for the warrior floating around cyber-space.If you are an inexperienced player as a Warrior, these guides out there will probably seem very technical which is to be expected.However, in this basic guide we will look at the most basic and easy to understand areas of the Warrior such as ground play and solo play.The Warrior class plays very successfully no matter what your preference.

The game will always warn you against playing as a warrior class because they depend on their gear so much.But this can also not be so bad because the warrior’s choice of gear is also very vast and you can have some fun suiting him/her to your needs.Warriors take any weapon except wands and relics and can plate up along with Paladins once they acquire a level 40, .Having plate on a warrior makes them look fierce and also adds to their powerful armor. .
Because their ability for withstanding and inflicting great damage is so strong, warrior are referred to as ‘tanks’.'Tank’ is a term used because warriors are the chief takers and givers of damage and are one of the most vital parts of succeeding in a raid or defending your group in the game.There will rarely be runs or raids carried out without a tank and the warrior is definitely the best choice of tank.There are 1 or 2 classes which can take on this role as tank but usually they will be unsuccessful.
As it is with all other classes, Warrior talents are split into trees. Depending on which talent tree chosen, you can specialize your warrior in the following way:
As Arms Warrior you will be able to have multiple talents and abilities for both offensive utility needs.The double-handed weapons are best for the warrior as they deal the most damage to any enemy, also if combined with the ‘Mortal Strike’ ability you will get extra bursts of energy within combat.
As Fury a Warrior you will now have the best ability to power level a warrior class in WoW.These too use double handed weapons and with a talent such as “Flurry” a warrior can inflict a strike which can end a fight with one move.If you choose to play Rogue, being a Fury warrior you get all the benefits of weapons and items but also you get the best type of armor there is; Plate. .
Protection Warriors are specialized for both offensive and defensive activity they are highly useful in group, raiding or instance runs.Protection Warriors will be excellent as tanks because they depend on highly skilled combat maneuvers and depend on their powerful armor which will prolong their life expectancy in combat.
Depending on the stance a warrior assumes, it will limit your trees of talents and abilities which you build.They are: Battle Stance (Normal), Defensive Stance (Protection), and Berserker Stance (Fury).Every stance will be geared toward the specialization you chose i.e. Berserker Stance for Fury Warriors and Defensive Stance for Protection Warrior (Tanks). .
